The Family 教育 Rights and 隐私 Act (FERPA) is a 联邦 law that 管理 the 收集, 保护, and 信息披露 of 学生的教育记录. FERPA allows the 后学生 rights with 尊重 to 教育记录.

Access to 教育记录: After 录取欧博allbet to Baldwin Wallace 大学 (BW), an 符合条件的学生 has the right to 检查 and review their 教育记录. BW will 提供 access to the 教育记录 within 45 days of a 请求.
请求 for 修正案 of 教育记录: A 学生 has the right to 请求修正案 of 教育记录 if the 学生相信 they are 不准确, 误导, or in 违反 of 隐私 rights under the Act.

Who Can Access 教育记录?

学生, 父母/监护人, and school 官员 can access 教育记录, but not at the same levels.

学生 have the right to:

Know the 的目的, content, and 位置 of all 信息 kept as part of their 教育记录

How Can I 释放 My 记录?

学生 can 请求记录 to be 发布 by 联系 the 适当的部门 and 提供 them with a 写请求 for 信息披露. The 请求 should 指定 what types of 记录 the 学生欲望 and to whom the 大学 should 释放 those 记录.

These 请求 must be signed by the 学生 (or sent via a basilinfracon.com email 地址) and dated.

单独的请求 must be made each time the record is to be 披露.

The 大学 has a 最大 of 45 days to comply with a 学生的请求. Each 部门 may have 个人日程安排欧博allbet record 保留.

Are There 异常 to FERPA?

同意 for 信息披露: 学生 can 请求 the 释放 of 教育记录, to a third party, by 联系 the 适当的部门. See "Who 负责监督教育记录” FAQ for 额外的 details. Record 请求 made to a 部门 must be signed (or sent via basilinfracon.com email 地址) and dated by the 学生. 请求 must also 指定 the 记录 to be 发布 and to whom the 记录 are to be 披露. 单独的请求 must be made each time the record is to be 披露. 父母 do not have access to their 学生的教育记录 unless 金融依赖 has been 验证 by a 部门 or the 学生批准 a 父母的 access.

教育记录: All 记录维护 by BW which are 直接相关的 to a 特定的学生. These 记录 can be in any form (手写的 notes, 电子文件, video, etc.) and are 维护 by 不同的办公室根据 on their content.
